TikTok One review

TikTok One is the best native program for a TikTok creator with 1,000 or more followers, because you can apply to open projects instead of waiting for an invite. Projects pay through TikTok, except invite-link projects, which are paid offline, and TikTok said in September 2026 that it takes no cut. Skip it if you are under 18 or TikTok One has not launched in your country.

Ranked 1 of 16 on our platform list. Checked October 20, 2026 by the Paid Brand Deals editorial team. TikTok One did not pay for this review, and nothing here is sponsored.

Best for. TikTok creators with at least 1,000 followers who want to pitch for paid brand projects without an agent.

Not for. Creators under 18, creators outside TikTok One's launch markets, and anyone who wants one fixed price for every deal.

What works

  • Open applications let you pitch for projects instead of waiting to be found.
  • Payment runs through TikTok's Rewards Center, not a brand's accounts team.
  • Brand projects start at 1,000 followers.
  • You pick the Spark Ads window, from 7 to 365 days.

What doesn't

  • TikTok does not publish which countries TikTok One covers.
  • Projects that mix base pay with revenue share are non-negotiable.
  • A weekly limit caps how many open projects you can apply to.
  • Invite-link projects use offline payment, so TikTok does not hold that money.

How does TikTok One work for creators?

TikTok One is TikTok's in-house marketplace where brands find creators, send project briefs, and pay for videos. It replaced TikTok Creator Marketplace, which TechCrunch reported TikTok shut down in early 2025, with the old site redirecting to TikTok One from April 1, 2025. Creators join from TikTok Studio, from the "TikTok One" search result in the app, or through an agency invitation link. After you register, you can add starting rates, contact details, languages, and industries to your profile.

TikTok's help center lists three ways into a paid project:

  • Direct invitation. A brand finds you and sends a project to your Inbox. You review the payment details, then tap "Accept" or "Negotiate."
  • Open application. A brand posts a project, and you apply and answer its eligibility questions. When TikTok launched open applications in 2023, it said each application includes a pitch, sample videos, contact details, and a proposed fee.
  • Invite link. A brand sends a link to a specific project. You have 7 days to accept before it expires.

Open applications are why TikTok One ranks first among the native programs reviewed here. YouTube and Snapchat mostly wait for brands to find you, while TikTok lets you raise your hand. The catch is a weekly application limit, which TikTok says rises as you complete projects with videos that perform well. Some creators are auto-accepted, and full projects may offer a waitlist.

Who can join TikTok One?

TikTok One is open to creators who are at least 18, live in a country where TikTok One has launched, and follow TikTok's Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy. TikTok's sign-up article, last updated July 2026, says brand projects need "at least 1,000+ followers and other requirements," and those vary by project. TikTok does not publish its list of launch countries. The practical check is whether Creator Marketplace appears in your TikTok Studio.

Some third-party guides still quote a 10,000-follower rule. This review could not confirm that on a current TikTok page, and the July 2026 sign-up article says 1,000.

TikTok also runs an invite-only tier. Net Influencer reported that TikTok One Plus launched in August 2026 for creators in the US or Mexico with at least 100,000 followers, and that members get 15% more pay on Custom Collab work. Most creators under 100,000 followers will not see that tier yet.

How much do TikTok One deals pay, and what does TikTok take?

TikTok One deals pay under one of three models, and each project states which one applies. TikTok's help center describes them this way:

  • Base pay only. A flat fee based on the number and type of deliverables. The project says whether the fee is negotiable.
  • Revenue share only. Pay based on how the video performs and how much the advertiser spends running it as an in-feed ad.
  • Base pay plus revenue share. A flat fee plus a performance payment. These terms are non-negotiable.

Offers show in your local currency and are subject to exchange rates and taxes. TikTok does not publish typical rates, so check the rate calculator and the guide to brand deal rates before you counter a negotiable offer. Revenue share deals put the risk on you. A brand that spends little on ads pays you little.

TikTok's help pages do not list a creator fee. At its Creators Summit on September 24, 2026, TikTok said its new One Pay system charges no transaction fees or commissions, according to reporting by Tubefilter and Net Influencer.

How and when do you get paid?

TikTok One pays you inside the TikTok app, through the Rewards Center under Monetization, once your payment account is approved. TikTok's payout article lists four pages there: Home, Pending, Transaction, and Order details, which ties each payment to a task or video. Money sits in Pending until it moves to your available balance, because different products run on different schedules.

For invite-link projects, TikTok says payment is sent after the brand confirms your submission. The same article says invite links support only offline payment and pricing, with no price setting or negotiation in the app. Agree the fee in writing before you accept one.

Timing improved in 2026. Tubefilter reported that One Pay, announced in September 2026, pays creators within 30 days of a video posting, faster than the 60 or 90 day terms common in the industry. Treat that as TikTok's stated target until it appears in the help center. Failed payments show in red on the Transaction page, and TikTok lists the usual causes as a missing payout method, a restricted or expired card, or unverified account details.

What rights do brands get to your content?

TikTok One brands can ask to run your video as a paid ad, and you control how long. TikTok's advertiser help says brands can extend a creator's post by "requesting authorization to sync" it to their Ads Manager account. For Spark Ads, the creator turns on ad authorization in the post's ad settings and picks a window. TikTok's help center lists 7, 30, 60, or 365 days.

Pick the shortest window the brand will accept, and charge more for longer ones. A 365-day authorization lets a brand run your face in ads for a year. That is usage, priced separately from the post. The guide to usage rights and Spark Ads explains how to price it, and the guide to disclosing sponsored posts covers labeling.

Is TikTok One worth it?

TikTok One is worth joining for any TikTok creator who is 18 or older, has 1,000 followers, and lives in a launch country. Joining costs nothing, open applications let you pitch, and payment flows through TikTok instead of a brand's finance team, except on invite-link projects, which TikTok says are paid offline. No other native program reviewed here lets you apply to open briefs without an invitation.

Skip it if TikTok One has not launched where you live, or if you want to set one price and let brands buy it. A fixed-price marketplace such as Collabstr suits that better. UGC creators who would rather not post on their own account should look at Insense.
